An APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-charter fund paid to the yacht. This budget covers variable expenses such as food & beverages, fuel, and marina fees. At the end of your charter, we provide you with a detailed breakdown of all expenditures, and any remaining balance is refunded to you. If you're unsure about what's included, feel free to contact our team.
Your Captain will inform you in advance when you're approaching the budget limit, and you'll discuss the next steps together. Typically, a bank transfer to top up the funds ensures everything continues smoothly.
In the Mediterranean, the standard practice is to tip 10-15% of your charter fee. This amount is shared equally among the crew. Bringing a thank-you card or a blank envelope is always a thoughtful gesture.
We'll share your Captain's contact details a few weeks before your charter. If you'd like, we can set up a group chat between your party and the Captain to discuss plans and preferences before you embark.

Dear crew, thank you for an unforgettable week sailing through the Greek islands. From crystal-clear waters to golden sunsets, every moment aboard was pure magic — made even better by your exceptional hospitality, seamless teamwork, and endless good vibes. Your attention to detail made us feel completely at home (albeit floating on paradise). We're incredibly grateful. Of course we had a few laughs — we'll never forget the moment our fearless captain was nearly blown off course, not by the Aegean wind but by someone's mysterious deck-clearing flatulence! We're still not sure who the culprit was, but Poseidon himself couldn't have delivered a more powerful gust. Thanks again — we're already dreaming of the next trip. P.S. the chef's food was amazing!

Solid, professional crew
We had a very good trip all around. The boat was better laid out than another vessel we’ve used and was very comfortable. The crew were solid, professional and efficient. We enjoyed great sailing and clear waters. Very pleased with the trip; the service and food matched the charter level.
