Why Yacht Charter in Dubrovnik?

When planning a Dubrovnik yacht charter, we at Blue More Yachting work closely with you to select the yacht that best suits your needs in one of the Adriatic’s most magnificent cities. From the moment you depart ACI Marina Dubrovnik (Komolac), the silhouette of UNESCO World Heritage walls accompanies you as the tranquil coves of the Elafiti Islands unfold before you.

Dubrovnik is an ideal starting point for those wishing to explore different yacht types. According to your group size and preferences, we offer Sailing Yacht or Motor Yacht options. Our experienced Crew knows the region’s hidden coves and the finest anchorages.

A one-week itinerary often begins at the botanical gardens of Lokrum Island. A swimming break at the sandy Šunj Beach on Lopud, lunch among the olive groves of Šipan, and sunset over the saltwater lakes of Mljet National Park are classic highlights of the Dubrovnik route.

Here, crystal-clear Adriatic waters, sheltered bays, and a rich historical atmosphere blend seamlessly. Routes extending from the medieval streets of Korčula to the lavender fields of Hvar are also possible. Our Captain and Crew plan every detail for you.

With our 5 years of Dubrovnik yacht charter experience, let’s create a tailor-made program that perfectly matches the rhythm of your family or group.

Season Guide

The season runs from May through the end of October. June and September are the most ideal months, offering pleasant sea temperatures and relatively calm marinas and bays. July–August is the busiest period; Dubrovnik city center and popular islands are crowded, so we recommend booking 4–6 months in advance. May and October are cooler yet quieter, perfect for those seeking serenity and nature walks.

The season runs from May to the end of October. June and September are the most ideal periods, with swim-friendly seas and calm bays. July–August is busy, so early booking is recommended.

The classic route starts in the Elafiti Islands; continuing through Lopud, Šipan, and Mljet, and extending to Korčula. Our Captain optimizes the route daily based on weather and your group’s pace.

The Elafiti Islands (Koločep, Lopud, Šipan) are within half-day sailing distance. Mljet, Korčula, and Hvar are part of a one-week itinerary. A passage to Montenegro (Kotor) can also be planned.

A Sailing Yacht offers the pleasure of wind-powered cruising, especially appealing to experienced sailors. A Motor Yacht provides speed and flexibility. We help you choose the best option based on the region’s character and your priorities.

Yacht size depends on group size, Cabin requirements, and comfort expectations. While 15–20 meters is sufficient for small families, larger groups may prefer yachts over 30 meters.

The Adriatic’s calm waters and sheltered bays are very suitable for families. The shallow beaches of the Elafiti Islands offer safe swimming areas for children.

We recommend starting with a crewed yacht; the Captain knows the region, and you simply relax and enjoy your holiday. Spending the first day at the marina helps you ease into the experience.

For July–August, 4–6 months in advance is ideal; for June–September, 2–3 months is sufficient. Early booking offers a wider yacht selection and date assurance.

The yacht, professional Crew, and standard equipment are included. Fuel, food and beverages, and marina expenses are calculated separately. We clarify everything in advance—avoiding unexpected costs is our priority.
