Why Split Gulet Charter?

When planning a Split gulet charter, you have the opportunity to explore the Adriatic’s thousand islands at a gentle pace, fully absorbing the scenery. Departing from ACI Marina Split, your gulet carries you toward the hidden bays of the Dalmatian coast and beaches accessible only by sea. There is no rush; each bay is a discovery of its own.

Split is a historic port, defined by the UNESCO-protected walls of Diocletian’s Palace, built in 305 AD. The marina sits right beside these ancient remains; seated on your gulet’s expansive Teak deck, you can admire Roman vistas. The harmony of the wooden hull with the waves allows you to feel the true rhythm of the Adriatic.

Gulets are ideal for larger groups thanks to their generous deck spaces and social living areas. On the table set on the Aft Deck, fresh Dalmatian fish, local olive oil, and regional wines create a feast. Stretching out on the Foredeck cushions to watch the stars is an essential part of the gulet experience.

Along your weekly route, enjoy walks among the olive groves of Brač, exploration on the lavender-scented hills of Hvar, and snorkeling in the untouched bays of Vis. A gulet allows you to experience each bay in depth. Your Chef brings Dalmatian flavors on board with fresh ingredients sourced from local markets.

With our Captains who know the Adriatic intimately and over five years of Split gulet charter experience, let us design a serene itinerary together, perfectly suited to your family’s pace.

Season Guide

The Adriatic season runs from May to October. June and September are the most ideal periods for a gulet; the sea is calm, and the weather is warm without being oppressive. July–August can be busy in popular bays, yet thanks to the gulet pace, secluded bays can be discovered early in the morning or late in the afternoon. May and October are cooler but uncrowded, rich in local festivals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Split Airport is 30 km / approximately 30 minutes from ACI Marina Split. As part of our charter service, we organize airport transfers. There are direct flights from many European cities.

The Adriatic season runs from May to October. The most ideal period for a gulet is June and September, when the sea is calm and bays are quieter. July–August is busier, but secluded bays can still be discovered early in the day.

The classic route begins calmly around Šolta and Brač, continues with lavender discoveries in Hvar, and ends with pristine bays in Vis. The gulet pace allows you to experience each bay in depth. Our Captain optimizes the itinerary according to weather and your preferences.

Brač, Hvar, and Šolta are close by. Vis and Korčula can also be included in a weekly route. As the gulet pace is unhurried, you can stay longer on each island for deeper exploration.

Gulets primarily cruise under engine power, though sails can be raised when conditions allow. Cruising speed is slower than a Motor Yacht, enabling you to absorb the scenery and travel without haste.

Gulets offer expansive deck areas, creating comfortable living spaces for large families and groups of friends. With the Aft Deck and Foredeck cushions, everyone can dine, sunbathe, and socialize with ease.

Gulets are very suitable for families. Wide decks, secure railings, and experienced Crew place safety at the forefront. The Adriatic’s sheltered bays provide safe swimming areas for children.

A gulet offers wooden craftsmanship, spacious decks, and a slow pace. A Motor Yacht focuses on speed and modern comfort. If you prefer unhurried exploration and absorbing the scenery, choose a gulet; if you wish to see more destinations in less time, a Motor Yacht may be preferable.

For July–August, booking 4–6 months in advance is ideal. For June and September, 2–3 months is usually sufficient. Early reservations provide a wider choice of gulets and guarantee your preferred dates.

The gulet, Crew service, and basic equipment are included; fuel and food & beverages are calculated separately. We clarify everything in advance—our goal is not to welcome you just once, but every year, which is why transparency is our priority.
