Why Athens Yacht Charter?

When planning an Athens yacht charter, at Blue More Yachting we help you select the most suitable yacht from this strategic location that opens from the heart of the ancient world to the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean. Departing from Alimos Marina, Marina Zea or Flisvos Marina, you can easily reach the historic islands of the Saronic Gulf.

Athens is one of Greece’s largest yacht charter centers. Its proximity to Athens International Airport, the variety of marina options, and easy access to both the Saronic and Cyclades islands make this destination stand out. We offer yachts with different cabin capacities suitable for families, groups of friends, and corporate teams.

Depending on the size of your group and your preferences, you can choose between a Sailing Yacht or a Motor Yacht. Our experienced Captains have known the region for years and optimize the route daily according to wind conditions and your family’s pace.

A one-week itinerary often begins among the pistachio groves of Aegina and continues through the car-free streets of Hydra. If you wish, you can anchor off Sounion to watch the sunset in front of the Temple of Poseidon. The lemon-scented harbour of Poros and the elegant villas of Spetses further enrich your route.

With our Captains who have known the area for years and our 5 years of Athens yacht charter experience, let’s create a program tailored to your family’s rhythm.

Season Guide

The season runs from April to the end of October. May–June and September–October are the most ideal periods; the weather is mild, the meltemi winds are not yet strong, and the islands are calm. July–August is meltemi season; exciting for experienced sailors but requires attention to wind conditions for first-timers. For this period, we recommend booking 4–6 months in advance.
