Why Dubrovnik Gulet Charter?

When planning a Dubrovnik gulet charter, as Blue More Yachting we design the most suitable route for you in one of the Adriatic’s most magnificent cities. From the moment you depart ACI Marina Dubrovnik (Komolac), the calm bays of the Elafiti Islands welcome you, accompanied by the silhouette of the UNESCO-listed city walls.

A Gulet is the ideal choice for those who wish to navigate the Adriatic’s island labyrinth without haste. The wooden texture crafted by Turkish masters, the expansive teak deck areas, and traditional lines carry the Mediterranean spirit into the Adriatic. Its structure allows easy access to shallow bays, enabling you to anchor in secluded spots away from the crowds.

A one-week itinerary usually begins in the botanical gardens of Lokrum Island. Slowly absorbing the scenery, you continue to the sandy bays of Lopud and the olive-tree-lined shores of Šipan. A table set on the spacious Aft Deck brings the flavors of Dalmatia directly to you.

Anchoring beneath the lush canopy of Mljet National Park, an evening stroll through the medieval streets of Korčula, and watching the stars from the Foredeck cushions are all part of the gulet experience. Your Chef prepares Adriatic mezze using fresh ingredients selected from local markets.

With our 5 years of Adriatic gulet charter experience, let’s create a program together that matches your family’s pace.

Season Guide

The season runs from May until the end of October. Early June and September are the most ideal periods for a gulet; the sea is perfect for swimming, bays are calm, and deck enjoyment is at its peak. July–August is hot and busy; popular bays are crowded, but with a gulet it is possible to reach alternative spots. For this period, we recommend reservations 4–6 months in advance. May and October are cooler yet quieter and away from crowds.

Dubrovnik Airport is 23 km / approximately 30 minutes from ACI Marina Dubrovnik. As part of our charter service, we organize airport transfers.

The season runs from May until the end of October. The most ideal periods are early June and September; the sea is suitable for swimming and bays are calm. July–August is busy, and we recommend early booking.

The classic route starts in the Elafiti Islands; a long lunch break in Lopud, sunset in Mljet, and morning breakfast in Korčula. Our Captain optimizes the route daily according to the weather and your family’s pace.

The Elafiti Islands (Koločep, Lopud, Šipan) are the first-day route. Mljet, Korčula, and Pelješac are part of a one-week itinerary. With a gulet, the entire Southern Dalmatia can be explored at a calm pace.

Gulets primarily cruise under engine power, and sails can be set when the wind is favorable. The cruising speed is slow, allowing you to fully absorb the scenery. This unhurried pace enhances the Adriatic experience.

The expansive deck areas of gulets create comfortable living spaces for large families and groups of friends. Thanks to the Aft Deck and Foredeck cushions, everyone can dine and sunbathe with ease.

Gulets are very suitable for families. Spacious decks, secure railings, and an experienced Crew prioritize safety. The Adriatic’s calm bays and clear waters are ideal for children.

The essence of the gulet experience remains the same in the Adriatic: progressing without haste, watching the scenery from the wide teak deck, and exploring each bay. Dalmatian cuisine and local wines complete this journey.

For July–August, 4–6 months in advance is ideal; for June–September, 2–3 months. With early booking, we offer a wider selection of gulets and date guarantees.

The gulet, Crew service, and basic equipment are included; fuel and food & beverages are calculated separately. We clarify everything from the start—transparency is our priority.
