Why Mykonos Gulet Charter?

When planning a Mykonos gulet charter, we offer the privilege of combining the cosmopolitan spirit of the Cyclades with the elegance of a traditional wooden yacht. The moment you depart from Mykonos Municipal Marina, a serene journey begins among the iconic islands of the Aegean aboard a gulet crafted by Turkish masters.

A gulet offers a different rhythm in this region. You experience the pleasure of gliding with the meltemi winds in the sails and absorbing the scenery on the expansive Teak deck. On the Aft Deck, a beautifully set table with Aegean mezes prepared by your Chef completes the gulet experience.

On a one-week itinerary, you can extend from the ancient temples of Delos to the secluded bays of Rhenia. The gulet’s shallow-draft capability allows you to anchor in hidden bays untouched by crowds. As you approach Little Venice, the contrast between the wooden hull and whitewashed houses offers an unforgettable view.

Reclining on the Foredeck cushions while watching the Cyclades’ white windmills and gazing at the night sky is an essential part of the gulet journey. The spacious Cabin layout and shared living areas create an ideal setting for families and groups of friends.

With our Captains who know the region intimately and our five years of experience in Greece, let’s design a calm itinerary tailored to your group’s pace.

The season runs from May through the end of October. Early June and September are the most ideal periods for a gulet; meltemi winds are mild and bays are calm. In July–August, meltemi can blow stronger; the gulet’s sailing capability becomes an advantage. May and October are cooler and quieter, when the warmth of the wooden deck offers a distinct pleasure.

The season runs from May through the end of October. June and September are the most ideal; meltemi winds are mild and bays are calm. July–August can be windy, but the gulet’s sailing capability is an advantage.

The classic route starts with Delos–Rhenia and extends to Paros and Naxos. With the gulet’s slow pace, you can spend ample time at each stop. Our Captain adjusts the route daily according to meltemi conditions.

Delos is 30 minutes away, Paros 3–4 hours, Naxos 4–5 hours, and Tinos 2 hours. With the gulet’s calm pace, you can spend sufficient time on each island. Planning is adjusted according to meltemi conditions.

Gulets primarily cruise under engine power, and sails can be raised when meltemi conditions allow. The Cruising Speed is slow, allowing you to absorb the scenery and travel without haste. This is the essence of a Cyclades discovery.

The expansive deck areas of gulets create comfortable living spaces for large families and groups of friends. Thanks to the Aft Deck and Foredeck cushions, everyone can dine and sunbathe in comfort.

Gulets are very suitable for families. Spacious decks, fixed railings, and an experienced Crew prioritize safety. The shallow bays of Rhenia offer ideal swimming areas for children.

The Blue Voyage is a slow-paced sea holiday tradition aboard gulets. In the Cyclades, it is the Greek version of this journey—gliding among white islands, spending time in each bay, and progressing without haste.

For July–August, 4–6 months in advance is ideal; for June–September, 2–3 months is recommended. Mykonos is a popular destination, and early booking offers a wider selection of gulets and date assurance.

The gulet, Crew service, and basic equipment are included; fuel and food & beverages are calculated separately. We clarify everything in advance—our priority is transparency, as we aim to welcome you back year after year.
