Private bathroom includes a shower enclosure and a standard domestic toilet. ## Crew ### Yiannis Marathianos — Captain Captain Yiannis is an experienced Greek master with an A Class Diploma and numerous safety and yachting qualifications. He has over 20 years’ experience on charter yachts, joined M/Y Glaros in 2018 and is noted for his extensive knowledge of the Mediterranean and for a past rescue award. He is married with two children and enjoys winemaking. ### Stamatis Katsikanis — Engineer Stamatis holds an Engineer’s A Class diploma with all necessary certificates and has more than 18 years’ experience at sea on various ship types. He joined M/Y Glaros in 2025 and is relied on by the Captain and crew for smooth operation and repairs of the yacht. In his free time he enjoys travelling, reading and swimming. ### Ariel Salazar — Chef Chef Ariel discovered his passion for cooking early and entered yachting in 1993, later training in Greece at Hotel Grande Bretagne. He joined M/Y Glaros in 2008 and is experienced in Mediterranean and Asian cuisines as well as pastry, able to satisfy demanding clients. He speaks English and enjoys fishing. ### Elena Golubnicha — Chief Stewardess Elena has over 15 years’ hospitality experience across restaurants, hotels and yachts and has completed seminars in housekeeping, mixology and silver service. She joined M/Y Glaros in 2019 and is organized, motivated and committed to high standards of guest service. Elena enjoys travelling and cooking. ### Eleni Dimitriou — Stewardess Eleni began her career in restaurants and hotels before entering yachting in 2015 and joining M/Y Glaros in 2022. She is described as polite, positive and attentive to guests' needs. Eleni speaks English. ### Anastasios Katsimichas — Deckhand Anastasios holds a speedboat license, an Able Seaman’s certificate and standard safety and first aid qualifications, with prior service on several motor yachts. He joined M/Y Glaros in 2019 and is hardworking and friendly, contributing to deck operations and maintenance. He is married with one child and enjoys fishing. ### Raoul Marcelino — Deckhand Raoul has over 25 years’ experience on ocean-going vessels and luxury yachts and joined the owner’s previous yacht in 2006 before coming to M/Y Glaros in 2008. He is a dedicated professional who assists the team and maintains a positive attitude. Raoul speaks English and enjoys swimming. ### Ryan Gavino — Deckhand Ryan has worked in the yachting industry for about 15 years, serving 10 years on M/Y Ipanemas before joining M/Y Glaros in 2024. He is experienced in deck operations and enjoys football and cinema. Your Captain will inform you in advance when you're approaching the budget limit, and you'll discuss the next steps together. Typically, a bank transfer to top up the funds ensures everything continues smoothly. ### How Much Should I Tip the Crew? In the Mediterranean, the standard practice is to tip 10-15% of your charter fee. This amount is shared equally among the crew. Bringing a thank-you card or a blank envelope is always a thoughtful gesture. ### When Can We Speak to Our Crew? We'll share your Captain's contact details a few weeks before your charter.
