He has over 13 years' experience on busy charter yachts, progressing from deckhand to captain and operating throughout the Adriatic and wider Mediterranean. Mate is communicative, easy-going and a strong team player who enjoys football, fishing, diving and spending time with his family. ### Mirko Bogdanović — Chef Mirko Bogdanović is an experienced chef who trained in 5-star hotels and at Michelin-starred Hugos in Berlin, with over ten years' experience. He is an expert in Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, serious and sociable in his work, and always dedicated to delivering excellent service to guests. Outside the galley he enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel and sport. ### Marina Madir — Hostess Marina Madir is a highly skilled hostess with extensive yachting industry experience, covering interior detailing and impeccable food and beverage service. If you're unsure about what's included, feel free to contact our team. ### What Happens If I Exceed My APA? Your Captain will inform you in advance when you're approaching the budget limit, and you'll discuss the next steps together. Typically, a bank transfer to top up the funds ensures everything continues smoothly. ### How Much Should I Tip the Crew? In the Mediterranean, the standard practice is to tip 10-15% of your charter fee. This amount is shared equally among the crew. Bringing a thank-you card or a blank envelope is always a thoughtful gesture. ### When Can We Speak to Our Crew? We'll share your Captain's contact details a few weeks before your charter.
