He holds RYA/MCA Yachtmaster status along with multiple safety and medical certifications and has a background in mechanical engineering; he is also a certified Cessna 172 pilot. Yiannis is dedicated to safety and delivering exceptional guest experiences. ### Emilia Sotiriou — Chef Emilia Sotiriou has worked as a yacht chef since 2019 and placed third in the Category A chef competition at the 2022 Mediterranean Yacht Show. At the end of your charter, we provide you with a detailed breakdown of all expenditures, and any remaining balance is refunded to you. If you're unsure about what's included, feel free to contact our team. ### What Happens If I Exceed My APA? Your Captain will inform you in advance when you're approaching the budget limit, and you'll discuss the next steps together. Typically, a bank transfer to top up the funds ensures everything continues smoothly. ### How Much Should I Tip the Crew? In the Mediterranean, the standard practice is to tip 10-15% of your charter fee. This amount is shared equally among the crew. Bringing a thank-you card or a blank envelope is always a thoughtful gesture. ### When Can We Speak to Our Crew? We'll share your Captain's contact details a few weeks before your charter.
